A Turkish Airlines plane had to land in St. Petersburg on its way to Russia, after sending out a highjack signal over the Black Sea.

The landing took place after one of the passengers sent a note to the pilot, saying that he has a bomb and will explode it unless the pilot lets him in the flight cabin. Fortunately, the attacker was overpowered by the passengers and no weapon or bomb was found on him. After landing, the troublemaker was handed over to police. He was identified as a drunk Uzbekistan citizen.
