Eighth International Winter Festival

The undisputed highlight of St. Peterburg's winter culture programme will be the eight edition of the International Winter Festival in Arts Square. Eleven days of fun (New Year's Day there is a break in the programme as everyone recovers from their hangovers!) leading up to Russian Christmas on the 7th January, will keep tourists and locals entertained alike. Classical concerts courtesy of the Petersburg Symphonic Orchestra and ballet courtesy of the Bolshoi means you can expect performances of the very highest order.
