"The Color of Japan" at the Hermitage

"The Color of Japan" in the Art of Keisuke Serizawa opens in St. Petersburg this November and runs through to January 2007. Serizawa was a pioneering textile designer of note and his many creations, illustrations and folk art won him many a fan. In fact he has two museums devoted to him in his homeland. See his colourful creations in the General Staff Building of the Hermitage.

Spitfire - band

The popular Russian ska punk band will perform their new album. Having formed in the early 1990’s playing garage covers, the dynamic and energetic performers now resemble a humorous, fun orchestra. Having recently courted fans throughout Europe on their regular tours, developing links all the time between the ska/punk scenes in Russia and Europe, Spitfire now return to their home of St Petersburg.
