Walk through the courtyard at 53 Ligovsky Prospekt and you'll find yourself at the entrance of one of St. Petersburg's most cult clubs. Small and friendly, with a stage for live acts and the essential inclusion of table football table, Fish Fabrique could be described as Russia's archetypal alternative venue. Crowds of friends squeeze together on benches getting noisily hammered, whilst up-and-coming rock bands add to the general racket. If you're having trouble making aquaintances then suffice to say that challenging someone to foosball will earn you a drinking partner for life.
